|Title||Van Gogh Bull|
|Medium||oil on canvas|
Rodeo rider with bright red chaps on a bull; nondescript background.
Riding bulls in one of today's rodeo competitions is the most dangerous sport in the world. Eight seconds on a bucking bull could seem like an eternity.
Charles Schridde attended the Chicago Art Institute, the Chicago Academy, and the American Academy of Art. After years in commercial art he has focused on painting the events of rodeo. Here he uses a technique not unlike Vincent VanGogh.
