Double-barrel Colt shotgun housed in leather and wood case with metal lock. Shotgun is stored in two parts -- shotgun stock end and barrel; case houses 5 used and 1 unused shotgun shells. Enclosed photograph reveals image of G.F. Cook, Director W.F. and Co, 1868. Stock end of shotgun reads COLT'S PTMFA W.F. & CO. 60, 12227 which is also indicated on the barrel. Shells are marked with location of maker; outside of case is marked with FAK. Photo on verso is marked with G.F. COOK, Director-W.F. and Co. 1868.
